The ale house in Ashburton was a decent place to spend the evening. The atmosphere was okay, nothing extraordinary. The staff were friendly, but the service was a bit slow. The menu had a decent variety of dishes, but the food was average in taste. The ale was good, but not exceptional. The prices were reasonable, but I felt there are better options in town. Overall, an average experience, nothing to rave about.
