I've been using Golden Star Ferries for my travels for a few years and my experience has always been satisfactory. The staff is friendly and the ferries are well-maintained. However, there have been a few instances where the departures were delayed, causing some inconvenience. Despite that, I would still rate Golden Star Ferries as a reliable company.
