Al Qattara was born out of a vision to build an inspirational stadium that would celebrate the people and heritage of Al Ain. The vision started to take form in 2012 and was realized in 2014 when the Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium opened its doors to reveal an architectural marvel, unprecedented in the region. Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium is the home grounds for Al Ain Football Club. The stadium won several prestigious awards since it started its operations including Stadium of The Year 2014.The resulting venue is as impressive as it is technologically advanced and – with a capacity of 25,000 seat – it has truly ignited sense of pride amongst the sports loving people of Al Ain, becoming a beloved focal point of unity and entertainment for the community. Al Ain Square is a community developed around Hazza Bin Stadium. The community is considered the new heart of Al Ain and includes more than 650 residential apartments, Aloft Al Ain and a choice of several retail outlets. %
