Headquartered in northern Indiana, Great Lakes Anesthesia currently contracts with 21 hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers throughout Indiana and Michigan. Incorporated in 1999, the group was founded by anesthesia professionals – anesthesiologists and CRNAs alike – all with a shared vision to provide great anesthesia services at the most competitive price. Since its inception, the company evolved from a small group of providers furnishing services to a single surgery center, to now employing nearly 70 anesthesiologists and CRNAs at a ratio that makes Great Lakes Anesthesia the largest employer of CRNAs in Indiana.
