LFR, a non-profit organization, creates scalable networks of emergency lay first responders in low- and middle-income countries to alleviate the global burden of traumatic injury that disproportionately affects developing countries. LFR deploys trained LFR Fellows, experienced emergency medical providers, to establish evidence-based lay first responder programs to provide basic prehospital emergency care.
