Rio Alto Mining Limited is a mid-tier gold producer focused on optimizing production, exploration and if appropriate, making further acquisitions of precious metal properties in low risk regions of the Americas. Rio Alto is listed in the TSX (RIO), BVL (RIO) and NYSE (RIOM). Rio Alto’s wholly owned properties, La Arena and Shahuindo, are located in a world class gold district in Peru. La Arena has been in production since 2011 and Shahuindo is in an advanced stage of permitting. Rio Alto is equipped with an experienced management team of mine-builders and operators with proven capabilities and plans to leverage experience from La Arena to fast track production at Shahuindo.
