Daha sonra okumadığını, dergilerdeki genç kadınların resimlerine baktığını fark ettim. Başka bir yaşlı bey, kütüphane bilgisayarında internette kadın boksunu izliyor ve yüksek sesle gülüyordu. Kütüphane personeli son derece kaba ve açıklanamayacak kadar saldırgan. Bir personel son derece kaba ve profesyonelce değildi. Çalışmama izin vermedi. Ondan uzaklaşmak için taşıdığım her masada arkamdaki raflara müdahale edip durdu. İsteksizce ayrılmak zorunda kaldım çünkü kitaplarıma odaklanmaya ve işime devam etmeye çalışırken beni taciz etmeyi bırakmadı. Ben kütüphaneden çıkarken nefesi altında mırıldanmaya başladı.
Personel buna izin vermediği için bu kütüphanede okuyamamana ya da çalışamamana yazık. Bu özel kütüphanenin katıldığım diğer kütüphanelerle aynı hizmeti sunmadığı ve toplumda aynı işlevi görmediği açıktır. Birinin evde ders çalışmasının beklendiğini varsayıyor.
Maalesef burada eğitim kültürü yok. Raftan bir kitap okumaya çalıştığımda, bir görevli bana devam etmem söylendi çünkü insanlar etrafta oturup kitap okuyamıyor. Birkaç kötü deneyimden sonra bu kitaplığı tavsiye etmem.
