Camphill Community - Coleg Elidyr'de, yetenekleri veya engelleri ne olursa olsun her bireyin öğrenme ve gelişme potansiyeline sahip olduğuna inanıyoruz. Misyonumuz, öğrencilerimizin becerilerini geliştirmelerine, kendilerini savunmalarına ve yaşamlarında daha fazla bağımsızlık bulmalarına yardımcı olmaktır.
Eğitim yaklaşımımız bütüncül ve kişi merkezlidir. Zorluklarını ele alırken her öğrencinin güçlü yönlerini geliştirmeye odaklanıyoruz. Müfredatımız İngilizce, matematik, fen bilgisi, tarih gibi akademik konuların yanı sıra yemek pişirme, bahçecilik, ağaç işleri, dokuma, çanak çömlek, hayvan bakımı gibi pratik becerileri içerir.
Ayrıca, öğrencilerimizin duygusal dayanıklılık geliştirmelerine ve genel refahlarını iyileştirmelerine yardımcı olan sanat terapisi müzik terapisi drama terapisi eurythmy masajı hidroterapi vb. gibi bir dizi terapötik aktivite sunuyoruz.
Camphill Community - Coleg Elidyr'in benzersiz yönlerinden biri, topluluk yaşamına verdiğimiz önemdir. Öğrenciler, gün boyunca destek ve rehberlik sağlayan personel ile birlikte küçük evlerde yaşarlar. Bu model, öğrencilerin yemek pişirme, temizlik, bütçeleme, alışveriş vb. gibi önemli yaşam becerilerini geliştirirken diğerleriyle ilişkiler kurabilecekleri destekleyici bir ortam sağlar.
Personelimiz, karmaşık ek öğrenme ihtiyaçları ve engelleri olan genç yetişkinlerle çalışma konusunda tutkulu olan yüksek eğitimli profesyonellerdir. Özel ihtiyaçlarını karşılayan ve aynı zamanda yeni zirvelere ulaşmaları için onları zorlayan kişiselleştirilmiş bir plan oluşturmak için her öğrenciyle yakın bir şekilde çalışırlar.
Coleg Elidyr'deki eğitim programlarımıza ek olarak, öğrencilerimize toplum içinde anlamlı bir şekilde katkıda bulunurken iş deneyimi kazanmaları için fırsatlar sağlayan, organik tarım, fırın, kafe, dükkan, zanaat atölyeleri vb. gibi çeşitli sosyal girişimlerimiz var.
