Howard County Sanat Konseyi A.Ş.: Sanatsal Dünyayı Keşfedin

Ellicott City, MD'deki Howard County Sanat Merkezi'nde bulunan Howard County Sanat Konseyi A.Ş.'den başka yere bakmanıza gerek yok. Konsey, Howard County ve ötesindeki her türlü sanatı tanıtmaya ve desteklemeye kendini adamıştır.

Howard County Sanat Konseyi, 1981 yılında, sanata takdir, eğitim ve katılımı teşvik ederek topluma hizmet etme misyonuyla kar amacı gütmeyen bir kuruluş olarak kuruldu. O zamandan beri, çeşitli programlarla her yaştan ve geçmişten sanatçıya yeteneklerini sergileme fırsatı sunuyor.

Yerel yetenek gelişimini desteklemeyi amaçlayan bu programlara ek olarak; HCAC ayrıca, her yıl binlerce kişinin katıldığı Columbia Festival Of The Arts gibi festivaller; ünlü müzisyenlerin yer aldığı konserler; yaratıcılığı kutlayan diğer etkinliklerin yanı sıra yetenekli oyuncuların sergilendiği tiyatro prodüksiyonları.

Maryland Eyalet Sanat Konseyi (MSAC) tarafından Maryland'in en iyi on sanat kuruluşundan biri olarak seçilmesi ve Amerika'daki saygın kurumlardan alınan diğer övgüler arasında kültür ve yaratıcılığı teşvik etmeye yaptığı katkının takdir edilmesi de dahil olmak üzere zaman içinde çok sayıda ödül aldığı için konseyin çabaları fark edilmedi.
