Doktor 1: 00'e kadar beni görmedi, bu noktada seçenekleri tartışmak için odaya video konferans verdi. Bana o gün bir ses sınava girmem gerektiğini söyledi. O sınav için saat 2: 00'ye kadar bekledim. Daha sonra bekleme odasında beklemem söylendi. Sonra görülmesi gereken muayene odalarından birine geri dönmem söylendi. Kalkıp gitmeden önce 3: 00'e kadar bekledim. Resepsiyona gittim ve saat 11: 45'ten beri beklediğimi ve saatin 3:00 olduğunu söyledim. Doktorun beni bir daha görmeyeceği belliydi. Kontrol edip ödeme yapmamı istedim. Resepsiyondaki tek bir kişi doktorun nerede olduğunu kontrol etmeye gitmedi. Ziyaret için ne kadar ödemem gerektiğini sordular. Onlara 150 dolar söyledim.
Şimdi saat 3:30 ve bu doktorun muayenehanesinde bütün bir günümü boşa harcadım. Kulağıma tüp mü yoksa steroid mi almam gerektiğini bilmiyorum. Kimse bana doktorun ne zaman yanımda olacağı ya da neden bu kadar çok zaman aldığına dair beni bilgilendirmenin profesyonel nezaketini veremezdi.
Bu ofise her gittiğimde sadece görünmeyi bekleyerek 2-3 saat geçirmem gerekiyor. Doktorlar hastaları göremiyorlarsa, yapabilecekleri en azından bizi yeniden planlatmaktır. Bu ofisin programını inanılmaz derecede profesyonelce buluyorum.
